Consecutive Education Program
The Consecutive Education Program at Queen’s University will help you to develop the skills needed to become a critically reflective teacher — the kind of teacher who looks beyond the immediate activities of daily practice. You will foster your natural inclination to teach, and learn how to guide and motivate the enquiring minds of children.
Program Highlights
- Program Focus courses and corresponding alternate practica in specialized areas, such as arts-based education, school leadership, at-risk adolescents, nature-based environmental education, and teaching internationally
- Up to 15 weeks of practical experience over the course of the program, interspersed with in class learning activities. See sessional dates for schedule.
- Practice teaching placement opportunities available west to the Toronto district, east to the Quebec border and north into the Ottawa valley
Program Options
Queen's offers three different program options. Each option results in slightly different courses which can be found by clicking the option below. Refer to the How to Apply for Admission information.
Note: The Faculty of Education at Queen's University does not currently offer a Junior-Intermediate Bachelor of Education program.
