Teacher Certification

Bachelor of Education and Diploma in Education graduates are recommended by the Faculty of Education at Queen's University to the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) to be awarded the Certificate of Qualification as a teacher and to become members of the College. Graduating teacher candidates who plan to teach in Ontario must formally register with the OCT, which includes completion of the OCT registration form and submission of supporting documentation, such as transcripts.
