Most web sites for science teachers focus exclusively on lesson plans, demonstrations, and ideas to assist them in improving the presentation of science subject matter. The following is a page of links to examples of how a science teacher can enhance the quality of the teaching and learning experiences of his/her students. By problematizing our own teaching and learning, we can begin to conduct "research" on our own practice in order to enhance the experiences of all learners, including our own.
The following pages contain a number of different links to Biology, Chemistry, Physics, General Science, Science Organizations, Current Issues in Science and Science Teaching, Science Centres, News and Media, Safety, Humor. Many of these sites are directed to teaching Science in the classroom and have excellent lessons, demos and activities.Attention Ontario elementary school teachers - there are some excellent leads to resources available in the "Elementary Science and Technology" science links.
